Meet Instructor Jenny
Instructor Jenny started studying Martial Arts in 2002 at Las Positas College under the instruction of Master Yoon while majoring in Interior Design. She quickly found the atmosphere of the class addicting, which caused her to max out the number of semesters that she could take the class. That and the need for a challenge sent her to transfer to Sky as a purple belt, where she continued to work hard. She is currently a 2nd dan and is working toward her 3rd.
Instructor Jenn met her, now, husband while they were both training at Sky. Her husband helped jump start her teaching by encouraging her to TA during classes and becoming her homework buddy by practicing with her outside of the studio. And the rest is history…..
Instructor Jenn loves teaching and watching those she help learn to grow and improve and would like to see them all become the best that they can be. We are extremely fortunate to have Instructor Jenn along with her loving and caring attitude towards her students.
Jenn has decided to go back to school to obtain an accounting degree to better herself and her family. She is proud to be a martial artist, sci-fi fanatic, and overall geek. She prefers to mix chores with fun and loves her husband, stepson, and what the family has affectionately called the zoo.
Two Sky Summer Camps
Sky will be offering our annual Discipline & Sparring Summer Camp! Please mark your calendars for August 16 – 20th. It is a week long camp from 9am – 3pm. Lunch will be provided. There will be visiting masters who will teach us sparring techniques, day long beach training, Sky’s own masters instructing on sparring drills, techniques and tips on becoming a better athlete in the sparring ring! Sky will also be offering another week long TaeKwonDo Day Camp this summer. The dates will be June 21 – 25th. We will be instructing TKD – park training – going to the Dublin Swim Center, watching videos and more! This is more of an activity week long camp that includes TaeKwonDo lessons and lunch.
